This Raven is ready to lead the resistance against fascism. Inspired by the French Resistance of WWII, but with a timeless message of "Vive la Résistance" (long live the resistance).
This linocut relief print is printed on lightweight (120 gsm), slightly textured 8×10 inch printmaking paper (a standard size for framing!). The image itself is about 6” wide x 9” tall. Printed with oil based ink. All prints signed & numbered.
Every block has been hand-carved & hand printed by yours truly. Trying to keep traditional art making processes alive one piece at a time & printmaking has long been one of my favorite mediums.
